Our Services

Personalized care to help you overcome your challenges. Online therapy in Rhode Island – Where resilience takes root.

At Havenwood Health, we offer specialized, evidence-based substance use counseling for adults across Rhode Island. Services are delivered virtually by Laura Luria, CAADC, LCDP, a licensed provider with expertise in addiction recovery, relapse prevention, and holistic care for co-occurring disorders

What We Offer

Individual Online Addiction Counseling

Personalized one-on-one sessions designed to address: 1. Alcohol or drug misuse and dependency, 2. Gambling, pornography, or other behavioral addictions, 3. Smoking cessation and nicotine recovery support, 4. Building motivation for change, regardless of current readiness.

Co-Occurring Support

Substance use often occurs alongside other emotional concerns. We address co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief, using integrated therapeutic support to promote whole-person healing and resilience through a trauma-informed, client-centered lens.

Court-Ordered Treatment

We help fulfill court or legal requirements related to DUI, substance-related offenses, or probation compliance. Services include progress documentation and coordination with attorneys or legal officers as necessary, while supporting clients in addressing the underlying issues contributing to their legal challenges.

Relapse Prevention & Harm Reduction

Whether you’re seeking to maintain sobriety or reduce substance use, we offer tools to build safety and long-term progress. Our approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental – free from shame or pressure – and rooted in meeting you where you are in your recovery journey.

Assessment & Treatment Planning

We conduct clinical evaluations to assess substance use and related needs. Together, we design a treatment plan based on your strengths, challenges, goals, and life context, ensuring a truly personalized path forward through informed and intentional care.

Family Education

We educate family members on addiction, recovery, and how to support without enabling. These sessions enhance understanding, strengthen communication, and are available individually or as part of a larger treatment plan to foster a healthier family environment.

Who We Serve

Individuals

Serving adults (18+) in Rhode Island through online therapy: 1. People in all stages of recovery: sober, actively using, in maintenance, or exploring change, 2. Individuals with mandated counseling requirements (court, probation, DCYF, etc.), 3. Clients transitioning from inpatient, detox, or intensive outpatient (IOP) programs, 4. Those reentering life after incarceration or treatment, 5. Adults seeking support for addiction, anxiety, depression, or life transitions.

Families

Support for loved ones affected by someone’s addiction. Family services are provided in the context of supporting a loved one’s addiction or recovery — not as stand-alone family therapy or couples counseling.
